To celebrate "spooky-season," WIU-QC Student Government Association (SGA) has decided on a Halloween theme for this year's event. Head to WIU-QC, building C Atrium from 7-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, for the WIU-QC Homecoming 2022 Celebration, "Haunted Homecoming."

Those who attend in costume will be entered to win prizes for the best solo and couples' costume of the night. Winners will be awarded an Amazon gift card. Snacks and activities will be available to all who attend.

SGA President Ashley Danner is eager for students to get involved and bring lots of life to campus.

"SGA-QC is so excited for Halloween and the fall season, but most importantly, we're thrilled to have a Halloween-themed Homecoming this year. There will be free food, poke-a-pumpkin games to win prizes, costume contests and more that will be announced later," said Danner. "There will be no tricks, just treats at WIU-QC's Haunted Homecoming. We can't wait to see students, staff and faculty dressed in their Halloween Homecoming best."

SGA provides students with a voice in governance and a forum to express opinions about the university's traditions, ideas and affairs. The SGA represents the wishes of the student body to university administrators and staff.
