Sports Production

WIU is the only state university in Illinois with a sports production program. wiutv3 Sports covers all home football and basketball games. We also cover as many baseball, softball, soccer and swimming matches as we can. On top of that we also send remote crews to cover away games and to local high school games as well.

 

Our remote truck allows us to cover the games and special events in the area. Currently, our truck has this set-up:

 

Besides production classes in sports there are also sports performance classes to help improve your play-by-play and color commentating skills and there's plenty of opportunity to practice.
