Graduate Majors, Degrees, & Programs

In an increasingly competitive workplace, knowledge is power! Through our masters programs, WIU CBT gives students the opportunity to go beyond their bachelor’s degree with advanced study in five areas.

Application and Admission

Students work at computer. For students now attending Western and for other American students, you can register online via the WIU School of Graduate Studies.

WIU School of Graduate Studies

Graduate Studies is responsible for screening all prospective students who wish to enroll in a masters level program at WIU. In addition, they monitor student progress and confer degrees for advanced programs of study.

The School of Graduate Studies works in concert with the provost, College of Business and Technology dean and department chairs, the MBA graduate committee, and the MBA graduate faculty to oversee issues relating to policies, procedures, and academic standards in graduate education.

Ideally, transcripts and applications should be submitted to WIU Graduate Programs before June 1 (for Fall Admission) or November 1 (for Spring Admission). There is no official deadline but there is a $30 admission fee. Transcripts must be sent DIRECTLY from the school or college. A transcript is not considered official if sent or brought in by the student.

For international students, the WIU Center for International Studies handles applications and is the source of information concerning immigration papers, I-20’s, and cost of school.
