ORIENTATIONS
As a new member of the WIU community, CITR would like to welcome you. Orientation sessions are held in August to help make your transition to our campus easier, more enjoyable and more productive. Each session is designed to familiarize you with the campus community, policies and services available to you.
An invaluable resource for tenure track faculty is the WIU Quick Reference Manual for Faculty (pdf). This is a comprehensive manual that collects in one volume a summary of the Western Illinois University policies and Board of Trustees (BOT) policies relevant to the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of tenure track faculty members. The WIU Faculty Quick Reference Manual does not supersede Board of Trustees or University policy, contractual Agreements, or state and federal laws. Inquiries concerning this manual should be directed to the Office of the Provost.
