Pre-Orientation Checklist
Activate your Ecom account before attending orientation. For instructions go to:
http://www.wiu.edu/university_technology/ecom.php (Your I-9 form must be signed and on file with the Provost’s Office before you will be able to activate your Ecom account.)
Register for New Faculty Orientation before August 2.
If you would like a mentor during your first year at WIU, register for the New Faculty Mentor Program
when you register for orientation.
Purchase a parking permit: Public Safety/Parking Services - Mowbray Hall, 309-298-1921, or at the Table Fair during the first day of orientation.
Obtain your WIU Photo ID at either University Housing and Dining Services in Seal Hall, or at the Student Assistance & Parent Service Center located on the first floor of the University Union. You must have your driver’s license or passport and your contract must be verified signed.
Be sure and obtain your Departmental Personnel Document from your Chairperson.
