Every May the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Research holds a two day summer academy training session. Each year we focus on a different technology to help faculty enhance their teaching and engage their students.
Google-ize Summer Academy 2017
This one day Summer Academy will explore the use of Google tools for creating, sharing, and collaborating which will enhance your teaching skills and be beneficial to you, your students, and collaborators. Come for a casual, fun experience with Chad Dennis and Sara Settles to kick off your summer!
Upon completing the academy, participants will be able to:
- Create and edit Google content using the following apps:
- Google Docs (word processing)
- Google Sheets (spreadsheets)
- Google Slides (presentations)
- Google Forms
- Google Sites (websites)
- Store, sync, and share content using Google Drive
- Collaborate with others on Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
Tuesday, May 16, 2017, (full-day session; 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.- 3:30 p.m.)

All participants will need their ECOM info to login to their WIU Google account.
