Description: A faculty member submitted a grant proposal to an external agency and received notification the project will be funded! Now, the project director and the department staff need to know the rules and regulations necessary to meet the objectives listed in the grant proposal and successfully complete the project. We will cover these rules and regulations, as well as discuss who sets up the account, handles payroll paperwork, progress reports, financial reports, and closes out the award. We will also go over key screens on FRBR, financial accounting reports, the process for paying expenses, and explain the importance of documenting and coding paperwork correctly.
