COEHS Holiday Shopping Trip
Enjoy a day of fun, shopping, and festivities in Chicago!
Come alone! Bring a friend! Bring your spouse! Bring your son or daughter!
Cost: $50 per person (This cost includes charter coach transportation and morning snacks.)
Schedule for the day:
06:00 am – Depart from WIU Macomb Campus
07:30 am – Arrive at WIU QC Campus for pick-up
10:30 am – Arrive in Downtown Chicago for drop-off
(This is when you have the choice of spending your entire day in Downtown Chicago or traveling on to Woodfield Mall to shop for half of the day)
11:30 am – Arrive at Woodfield Mall for drop-off
04:00 pm – Depart from Woodfield Mall
05:00 pm – Arrive in Downtown Chicago for drop-off
07:30 pm – Depart from Downtown Chicago
10:30 pm – Arrive at WIU QC Campus for drop-off
12:00 am – Arrive at WIU Macomb Campus for drop-off
Other than shopping, the best part about being in Chicago on the 17th is The Magnificent Mile of Lights Festival will be taking place. They have a variety of activities taking place throughout the day from approximately 11:00 am – 10:00 pm. Some of the most exciting events include the illumination of The Magnificent Mile between 6:00 and 7:00 pm followed by a fireworks display.
