The Teacher Education Program Assessment System (TEPAS) has been designed to assess candidate knowledge, performance, and dispositions to assure continuous professional development of our future teachers and school personnel. TEPAS also serves the critical function of providing the Unit with the data needed to assess the quality of individual programs and of the Teacher Education Program in its entirety. TEPAS reflects the Unit's Conceptual Framework and incorporates the Teacher Education Program's outcomes. Those outcomes include the Unit Standards, domains, and elements. The diagram below is a visual representation of the Conceptual Framework's domains, embedded Unit Standards, and descriptive elements.
