2011/2012 - New musical opportunities!
This is a very exciting year at CMS! Since its opening in January 2009, the program has exploded with a flurry of fabulous, up and coming musicians. Our programs now have a staff of piano teachers and guitar teachers as well as several string performance and education majors assisting in the youth string orchestra program. We have a jazz piano teacher who has started a small, focused studio on style, harmony, and improvisation as well as technique. We are also starting a new program for drum students to receive private lessons and a jazz combo for middle school and high school students. Private voice lessons will also be available for budding American idols!
CMS is continuing our program for pre-school aged children and their parents called Family Music Classes. The early years of life are so crucial for establishing a foundation for lifelong music development. Family Music Classes at the Community Music School bring musical playtime activities to life, teaching you and your child how to sing together in class and at home.
Openings for all of our programs are filling up fast! Sign up now to get in on the musical action!!
See the tabs on the left for each program description, or contact the people below for specific inquiries.
Even more musical opportunities to come..... stay tuned!!!
