Philosophy
We believe that an education in the arts is one of the most essential and enriching experiences a child,
teen or adult can enjoy. Our school provides an environment and program which joins people of all ages,
abilities, backgrounds and financial circumstances in joyful and enriching opportunities in music.
CMS is a place where creativity and musicality are encouraged and where concentration, commitment, and collaboration are fostered through quality instruction and performance opportunities.
2009 is the re-opening of the Community Music School with a youth string orchestra. Future plans include a piano program, choral programs, adult ensembles, musicianship classes, and private lessons. Stay tuned!
Programs
Beginning in fall of 2009, CMS is proud to offer lessons on piano and guitar as well as a youth string orchestra. More programs will be added in the coming semester - stay tuned!
