Creative Writing Gala, Spring 2006
Share and workshop your creative works: Fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and screenwriting.

First workshop: 9:00-11:00 am
Reading: 11:15 am
The First Creative Writing Gala is open to all WIU students who are interested in sharing/work-shopping creative work. Each participant will workshop their piece during the day, and will be given the chance to read some of their work in the evening. If students wish to participate in the evening reading, please attach a Biography less than one paragraph. Please prioritize the material you want to workshop and make multiple copies of your work for work-shopping purpose. The work will be distributed to all participants prior to April 1, 2006 to read before attending the gala. Moderator to be announced.
Send submissions by March 27, 2006 to Sarah Williams (sa dash williams at wiu dot edu) or deliver to the box in the English mailroom (Simpkins 122). Five pages maximum (five pages of prose or five poems no longer than a page). Please indicate the genre you wish to enter.
