Everyone,
The annual English Graduate Organization Conference is this weekend. Many of you are participating in the conference. If you are not, I would like to encourage you to attend this great event. The conference kicks off tomorrow in the Union at 9:30 and ends on Sunday when, at 2pm, Dr. Martha Stoddard Holmes will deliver a keynote talk. Dr. Stoddard Holmes is a brilliant scholar from Cal State, San Marcos. Her work focuses on representations of the disabled body in literature-- the organizing subject of the conference is, indeed, the representation of the body in general. We're lucky enough to have Dr. Stoddard Holmes in Macomb on Monday. Dr. Stoddard Holmes will be able to hold a Q&A workshop with graduate students. The session is scheduled for SI 025 at 4 pm on Monday. Please attend! Thanks,
Mark
