Wednesday, April 16, 2003:  ESA hosted a very successful forum with two speakers. Dr. Larry Wall, associate dean of the College of Business and Technology at WIU spoke on ethics in the workplace, and Dr. Robert Froehlich, vice chairman and chief investment strategist at Scudder Investments spoke about the path of the stock market today. The afternoon was spectacular with an immense amount of information relayed from our guests.

Thursday, January 30, 2003:  A few of ESA took the train to Chicago for the day to take tours and hear speakers at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, the Chicago Board of Trade, and the World Trade Center Chicago. Presentations included were extremely interesting and all and all, an excellent day.

Saturday, November 16, 2002:  A group of 10 of us made our way to The Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce in Moline, IL to participate in a small business seminar held by members of the SCORE organization. They presented us with alot of useful information on starting a small business in Illinois.

Monday, September 30, 2002:  Mary Downey from AG Edwards spoke to use about investing and what is happening in the market recently. She gave some handouts describing some terms that potential investors should know as well as a handout on investing in general. She had very good and informative things to say and took and answered our questions.
