Internship

The internship at both the masters and education specialist levels is clinical field experience in the student major area of specialization (principal, superintendent, business manager, special education director). The internship is carried out under the supervision of a local school district administrator and a department of educational leadership faculty member. Successful completion of the internship is required for administrative certification. The internship is normally carried out in the student’s school district and requires a minimum of 75 clock hours of planned activity for each semester hour of credit.
