If you have a child or children at Western, know that FYE will help them have a great first year. The FYE program is coordinated by Assistant Provost Dr. Judith Dallinger and a talented group of experienced faculty with a special interest in first-year students. With the full support of President Goldfarb and the WIU community, FYE team members provide a rich set of activities in and out of courses. Junior and senior Western students enhance the program by serving as peer mentors, providing even more support to new students.
Western's FYE program participates in the Foundations of Excellence project, giving us access to the latest national research on first-year students.
