       The department has withdrawn the Board of Trustees/BA Degree new option in Fire Science from further consideration at this time, pending approval of academic terms by CCPI and Senate.

                  Outgoing CCPI representatives Pat Anderson and Kathy Newmann left the table during the election procedure.  Incoming CCPI member Bill Bailey took a vacant seat; the other new representative, Jeff Engel, was unable to be present.

                                                Introduces pre-service teachers to the skills and knowledge base neededto demonstrate their proficiency in the Core Technology Standards for All Teachers, as defined by ISBE.  This course focuses on both knowledge and performance, and includes hands-on technology activities.  Open only to the Teacher Education Program students.

                                                Introduces pre-service teachers to fundamental concepts, skills, and attitudes for applying technology in educational settings, as defined by ISTE National Technology Standards for Teachers and ISBE Technology Standards for All Illinois Teachers.  Open only to Teacher Education Program students.

                                                Prereq: Successful completion of the Technology Competency Assessment (TCA), CS 111, or instructor’s permission
