GENERAL EDUCATION REVIEW COMMITTEE FINAL REPORT (10-07)

2006-2007 GERC MEETING DATES:

Duties: In the fall of 2005, the Council on General Education, with the addition of six Senate-appointed members, was charged with conducting a thorough review of the General Education requirements at Western Illinois University, including a careful consideration of the W Requirement. A preliminary report of activities was presented to Senate in January 2006, with an AY 06 final report submitted in April 2006 and an AY 07 final report submitted in April 2007. The review was completed and the committee disbanded after the approval of the final report and recommendations by Faculty Senate and President Goldfarb in October 2007.
