Mobile Computing Task Force: Making the Way for Mobile Learning at WIU
MACOMB, IL — “We’re changing the classroom.” That’s what Mike Dickson told his grandmother once during a telephone conversation when she asked what he did for a living. Dickson, the special projects director in University Technology and keynote speaker at Tech Fest 2009 at Western Illinois University, was relaying this story of a particularly memorable telephone conversation with his grandmother to many of those who attended the tenth annual Tech Fest, which was held Wednesday, April 15, by WIU’s College of Education and Human Services (COEHS).
