Debbie has been the department secretary since 1978. She keeps the department running smoothly and has become a valuable member of the department. In 1986 she received the College Outstanding Civil Service Employee Award and in July of 2004 was selected as the WIU Civil Service Employee of the Month. In Spring 2007, she received the University Civil Service Recognition and Service Award.
