Illinois' Early Intervention program's mission is to assure that families who have infants and toddlers, birth to three, with diagnosed disabilities, developmental delays or substantial risk of significant delays receive resources and supports that assist them in maximizing their child's development, while respecting the diversity of families and communities.
Illinois Early Intervention CBO
The Department of Human Services' designee for processing the state's payment of claims to EI providers and linkage with the Illinois Cornerstone System. Maintains provider data interface with Cornerstone.
Illinois EI Clearinghouse
The Illinois Early Childhood Intervention Clearinghouse, funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services, has been providing library and information services on early intervention issue. Their mission is to make available state-of-the-art library and information resources related to early childhood intervention to the citizens of Illinois.
Early Intervention Monitoring Program
The purpose of the Early Intervention Monitoring Program, provided by the Vander Weele Group, LLC and funded through the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), Bureau of Early Intervention is designed to ensure that state and federal regulations regarding the delivery of Early Intervention services to infants and toddlers under the age of 3 are met.
Illinois EI Training Program
The Early Intervention Training Program at the University of Illinois provides training opportunities for early intervention professionals in Illinois. Funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services Bureau of Early Intervention, our mission is to develop a system that is regionalized, responsive and reflective of best practice in the field of early intervention in Illinois.
Hearing and Vision Early Intervention Outreach
Hearing and Vision Early Intervention Outreach is a program funded by the Department of Human Services since 1999. They develop and provide training and technical assistance at no charge to Early Intervention providers, parents, and any interested party who provides services to infants, toddlers and young children who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing or Visually Impaired.

Illinois Office of the Comptroller
Establishes payee from CBO information. The CBO generates a list of services billed to IDHS, IDHS reviews and forwards it to the Office of the Comptroller, and the Office of the Comptroller issues a check for payment.
