EI Provider Payment Update Effective 07/05/13
The Early Intervention Bureau has secured funds to approve the 05/29/13, 06/05/13 and 06/12/13 vouchers for payment. These payments should be visible on the DHS and Comptroller websites within the next few business days. Additional funds are being processed and moved into the DHS accounting system which will allow us to provide additional payment next week. Exactly how many vouchers will be announced once the funds are moved properly.
Early Intervention is continually working to secure additional revenues in order to process payments. We are not always aware of when these funds may be released to the Early Intervention 502 Revolving Fund. We also must have the funds secured into the DHS accounting systems before payments can be made. IOC is only the first step in the process. While we understand the impact any delay has on every aspect of the Early Intervention Services System, we are not able to change the way the state process works. Early Intervention receives funding from multiple sources and every effort is made to reduce the impact of the lack of state funds available by utilizing every other source. As funds remain available, payments will be made. Thank you for your support and continued patience.
