Illinois Early Intervention (EI) Training Program
The Illinois Early Intervention Training Program provides training opportunities for early intervention professionals providing services to infants and toddlers in Illinois. This is a program through the United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) Association of Greater Chicago funded through a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services Bureau of Early Intervention. Since July 2002, UCP has been responsible for providing all required EI trainings to providers in the state of Illinois. Required trainings include, EI Systems Overview, Service Coordination/Parent Liaison, EI Evaluation/Assessment, and Cornerstone trainings. UCP also provides continuing professional education workshops and regional conferences that are credited for EI credential renewal.
