Illinois Early Intervention (EI) Training Program
The Illinois Early Intervention Training Program provides training opportunities for early intervention professionals providing services to infants and toddlers in Illinois. This is a program through the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana campus, funded through a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services Bureau of Early Intervention. On July 1, 2013 the Illinois Early Intervention Training Program became the Early Intervention Training Program at the University of Illinois and is responsible for providing all required EI trainings to providers in the state of Illinois. Required trainings include, EI System Overview, Service Coordination/Parent Liaison, EI Evaluation/Assessment, and Cornerstone trainings. UCP also provides continuing professional education workshops and regional conferences that are credited for EI credential renewal.
On this website you will not only find a comprehensive listing of future EI trainings, and previously approved trainings, but also processes for obtaining pre/post EI credit approval for training not offered through the Illinois EI Training Program. An online registration is also available.
