Honors Requirements
The following requirements must be completed to earn the Honors Scholar distinction at graduation:
- Complete GH 299: Quad Cities Honors Portfolio, a 1 semester hour course on the creation and maintenance of the portfolio. This course must be completed within the first year of being admitted to the Honors Program.
- Complete an Honors Portfolio, documenting 10-12 units of approved honors experiences and a concluding reflective essay.
- Present the Honors Portfolio in an appropriate forum.
- Be nominated by the faculty mentor and approved by the Quad Cities Honors Committee for graduation as an Honors Scholar.
