What do I need to connect to the Internet in the halls?
All halls and university apartments require a 10/100 Network Interface Card and an ethernet cable to connect.

If you have a roommate with a computer you will need to buy a hub or switch to share the internet connection.

If you are considering the purchase of a new computer, please visit our Computer Store for discounts.

I am moving into the halls soon. What if I need help?
Please contact the UT Helpdesk at (309) 298-2704. ResNet Technicians will be working during move-in, please refer to your orientation pamphlet for dates and times.
