1. •McDonough County Sheriff's Office Dive Rescue Team came in and did a presentation on the rescue equipment they use. They even let us use some of their equipment.

Projects

1. •We have improved our Underwater Obstacle Course through a donation of PVC pipe from West Side Lumber.
   

2. •We sunk a combine to the bottom of Strode Lake in Canton, IL. It lies between the sailboat and the van!
   

3. •At Hubler Rock Quarry in Media, IL we have constructed a shed to use for changing and keeping warm. We are working on getting working toilets next.
   

4. •We have sunk a swim-through at Media, built by Andy.

Annual "Eggs"-cellent Easter Egg Hunt

1. •This was a true favorite for all. After over 10 years, the SCUBA Club has stopped hosting the Annual Easter Egg Hunt...
   

2. •The good news, however, is that we are going to be starting a new tradition... an underwater treasure hunt. The first hunt will be held on September 20, 2009 at Haigh Quarry in Kankakee, IL. Check out this page for more information about the first treasure hunt.
