Declaration/Change a Major

The process of declaring a major begins with the steps discussed in the major/career exploration section of our website. Once you have decided on which major you would like to pursue, contact your General Orientation advisor about setting up a meeting with the advisor of the department for your major. You will also need to have a Declaration of Academic Program form filled out and signed by your new advisor. View a sample of this form (pdf).
