Listed below are a few projects or initiatives that the Desktop and Hardware Services group is involved in.

• Faculty Upgrade Program – 4 year rotation of faculty computers on campus
• Hard Drive Wiping – Wipe all of the data from hard drives before leaving campus
• Technical Support Group Meetings – Monthly meetings of support staff on campus
• Dell Warranty Replacement – 3 staff members are Dell certified to replace parts in WIU owned Dell computers that are under warranty.
• Seek and Secure – Sensitive data scanning program to help address removing sensitive data on university computers.
• Mac Admin Accounts – Setting up remote management for WIU Owned Mac Computers
