University Women @ WIU

University Women is a social and service organization open to any woman who is an employee, retiree, or is a wife/domestic partner of an employee or retiree of Western Illinois University, or by consent of the University Women Executive Board. Any woman who is a resident member of the WIU Board of Trustees or is a wife/domestic partner of a resident member of this board, or is the University President or is the wife/domestic partner of the University President, shall be an honorary member and may retain her membership as long as she desires.

The organization has wide range of interest groups to appeal to all women. University Women also supports two annual scholarships to WIU students, assists with WIU-sponsored blood drives and helps women of our international community become more comfortable and proficient in English through the International Friendship group.

Fall Breakfast
Date: Saturday, September 14th
Time: 9 - 11 a.m.
Place: Knoblauch Hall, Room 239, WIU
Details: This is our first large group event after the summer and is open to current and new members. Join us to catch up with old friends and meet the new additions to our Macomb community.
If you are a new member, the breakfast is our welcome gift to you. Please RSVP for the breakfast by Tuesday, September 3th by submitting your membership form online or a printable PDF or contacting Phylis Self at pcself@gmail.com or 836-8338.
