ALA Travel Grant 2008

The African Literature Association invites members who live and work in Africa to apply for the 2008 ALA Travel Grant. The grant, which offers three stipends of $500 each, enables awardees to attend the next ALA Conference to be held April 22-27, 2008 in Macomb, Illinois, USA.

Deadline for application is December 31, 2007.

GUIDELINES: The African Literature Association is pleased to announce the establishment of three modest ALA Travel Grants of $500 each to be awarded to three members of ALA traveling from Africa to an ALA Conference.

Eligible applicants should demonstrate: 1) scholarship; 2) financial need; 3) ability to supplement grant award. Interested applicants should complete and submit the Travel Grant application form below.
