Chika Unigwe is an Afro-Belgian writer of Nigerian origin. She is the author of fiction, poetry, articles and educational material. Her first novel, De Feniks, has recently been published in Dutch by Meulenhoff/Manteau.

Alain Mabanckou
Congolese poet, novelist, literary chronicler, resident of Paris, and currently writer in residence in the Departments of Romance Languages and Literatures and Afroamerican and African Studies at the University of Michigan. He has published several novels, including: Blue-Red-White (African Presence 1998), The burial of my mother (Kaleidoscope, Denmark, 2000), And God alone know how I sleep (African Presence, 2001), and The Negro Grandsons of Vercingétorix (The Plumed Serpent, 2002), in addition to five collections of poetry.

Niyi Osundare
Niyi Osundare is a Nigerian poet, dramatist, and academic and has authored over ten volumes of poetry and four plays. He won many awards including the Association of Nigerian Authors Poetry Prize, the Cadbury/ANA Poetry Prize, Commonwealth Poetry Prize, and the Noma Award. He was formerly Professor of English at the University of New Orleans, USA.
