Advice for Freshmen: Take advantage of opportunities and don't be afraid to go outside of your comfort zone. You will meet new people, make great friendships, learn more about yourself, and grow as an individual during your time at WIU and you will never regret that!

Favorite WIU Memory: Living in Wetzel Hall; serving within Inter-Hall Council; and developing life long friendships

Family/Hobbies: I am engaged to Josh Oaks, who is also a WIU alumnus. We will be married in November 2012, in Macomb, with our reception on the campus of WIU. We both have great memories and bleed purple for WIU! My hobbies include taking pictures, crafting when time allows (scrapbooking, sewing), reading and doing community service.
