Country Music Coming to WIU on March 24
Tickets go on sale for "Gloriana" February 1 in the Hainline Theatre Box Office from noon until 5:00 p.m. "Gloriana", opening act for Taylor Swift and artist of the popular "Wild at Heart" single off their self-titled debut album, will play Western Hall along with fiddle player extraordinaire Natalie Stovall on Wednesday, March 24. Don't know who they are? You can find footage of both acts on YouTube. It will be a great night of country music sponsored by the University Union Board! Show times begin at 8:00 p.m. with Natalie Stovall and approximately 9:00 p.m. for Gloriana.
Students: $10 advance, $15 at the door
Public, Faculty, Staff: $20 advance, $30 at the door
General Admission seating. Standing room only on the floor. No cameras, backpacks or large purses as per artist request.
Come see "Gloriana", American Music Awards "Breakout Artist of the Year" for 2009 before they make it too big for Western Hall!
