President Goldfarb's Holiday Letter to Western Illinois University Alumni and Friends:

The holiday season is a time to remember how fortunate we are to be members of the Western Illinois University family and a time to find ways to help others. I would like to thank you for all that you have done to help your University accomplish great things this past year, despite the immense challenges and economic constraints.

I would also like to express my gratitude and appreciation to the University community, of which you are all a part, for your continued support. Elaine and I are thankful for the many friends we have made since coming to Western eight years ago. It is an honor to serve as the president of Western Illinois University.

I wish each of you a happy new year and good health and happiness in 2010.
