Kinesiology's Sport Management Program Celebrates 35 Years
You are cordially invited to attend the WIU Department of Kinesiology's Sport Management Program 35th Anniversary Celebration Friday, April 11 - Saturday, April 12. Join your friends, alumni and current sport management students in celebrating the tradition of the Western Illinois sport management program.
Friday: Golf - 1 p.m. Harry Mussatto Golf Course
Dinner/Silent Auction - 6:30 p.m. - Chandler's - North side Square -127 E. Carroll St.
Saturday: Barbecue at the Alfred Boyer Baseball Field. A pass will admit you to the baseball or softball doubleheaders, the Lee Calhoun Relays, or tennis match.
1972-2007 Celebrating 35 years of sport management
Cost: All weekend - $55; Golf only - $30; Dinner/Silent Auction - $25; Barbecue $5

RPTA Professional Development Conference: April 17-19
Reminder! Mark your calendars for the RPTA Department's Professional Development Conference (PDC) on April 17 -19. Founding department chair, Dr. Tony Mobley will be the keynote speaker at the conference. Included in the festivities on April 17 is the RPTA Big Bogey Classic, to be held at Western's Harry Mussatto Golf Course. Join the Department of Kinesiology at the Spring Football Game
You are invited to join the Department of Kinesiology's Athletic Training Education Program in celebrating the 30 year career of Mike "Pendy" Pendergast at the spring football game on April 19, 2008. During his distinguished career, Pendy served as head athletic trainer for WIU Athletics and as Interim Athletic Training Education Program Director.
Preliminary plans include: Tailgating with the faculty, students, and alumni of the Athletic Training Program prior to the game with a reception following the game to continue the celebration!
