LEJA Alumni - mark you calendars for two events!
November 4 - LEJA alumni event at Maggie Miley's (126 E. Beaufort, Normal, IL 61761) from 5:30 - 8:00 pm. Appetizers will be provided as well as a cash bar. RSVP for the event by e-mailing Jennie Hemingway, JA-Hemingway@wiu.edu. Retired and current faculty will be on hand to reminisce and update you on what is new in LEJA. The next day, on November 5, join the department as they cheer on the Fighting Leathernecks as they take on the ISU Redbirds. Alumni Programs is hosting a pre-game social and you can register here. Come to one event or both - we look forward to seeing you!
December 1 - LEJA faculty will be on hand at Western After Hours in Libertyville. Join LEJA and the Alumni Association at Mickey Finn's Brewery, 412 N. Milwaukee Ave., from 5 - 7 pm in Libertyville. The social is $5/person and a cash bar is available. Click here to register for the event.

The Department of Kinesiology is hosting Joe Terry, P.T., C.S.C.S, from the Human Performance Lab in Peoria, IL. The strength coaching staff at 'The Lab' has the most experience in Central Illinois working with athletes and preparing them for performing at their best in competition. Terry will speak on November 9 at 7 pm in Horrabin Hall 78 on the Macomb campus. All are welcome! |
