WIU Welcomes a Fulbright Scholar from Brazil
The International Friendship Club (IFC) held it's first event on the school year on Friday, September 6, 2019. The Welcome Party and Game Night was a success. IFC is dedicated to providing fun and unique ways to learn about the importance of diversity, culture, and traditions b oth in Macomb and on-campus at Western Illinois University. We would love to have any alumni come and join us at our events like the International Bazaar, Homecoming Parade, and Game Nights to meet our international students!
The Phi Beta Delta (PBD) International Honor Society will hold an informational meeting on Thursday, October 3 at 4:00 p.m. in the Algonquin Room in the University Union. WIU has its own chapter. The honor society is dedicated to recognizing the scholarly international achievements of faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members. Applications are due by October 11, 2019.
