Clay Edwards
Clay Edwards, 59, Fayetteville, Ark., formerly of Macomb, died Jan. 7 in his home.
He served as the performing arts coordinator at Western in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In this position he served as the adviser to the Bureau of Cultural Affairs and the University Union Board POP Concerts Committee. At the time of his death he was associate vice chancellor for development at the University of Arkansas. He was a native of New Orleans and a graduate of Davidson College, North Carolina. His wife, Sandy Keiser Edwards MS '74 served as both a graduate assistant and a staff member in the Office of Student Activities. Robert Hills
Robert Hills, who taught in the music department for many years before teaching at Eastern Illinois University and then retiring, died Jan. 3. He had directed the Newcomer show choir.
