1978 WIU baseball team to celebrate 30 years

A 30-year anniversary celebration of the 1978 Western Illinois University baseball team will be held May 3 in Macomb when the Leathernecks play a doubleheader against Oral Roberts University.

Players from the 1977, 1978 and 1979 teams are invited to join their former teammates for a social and tailgate prior to the first game, as well as between games, followed by a post-game get-together in Macomb (location TBA).
