- Karen DeFoe Kemp (MS-ED '69), Morton, retired from Pekin High School as a special education teacher in June 2001.
- Kent Palmer, Roselle, retired from JTech Communications in September 2003.

- Gary Donhardt, Collierville, Tenn., presented a paper in Rome, Italy, "Salient Differences Between Students Who Graduate on Time and Those Still Enrolled," and has a book scheduled for publication, "In the Shadow of the Great Rebellion; The Life of Andrew Johnson, Seventeenth President of the United States (1808-1875)."
