4th assignment : Billboard, poster or other related print piece

Design a 48 x 14' billboard advertising a single facet of WIUW-FM radio (advertising a featured program, presenting the station as the voice of the university, as a NPR station, etc.). This billboard will be located on Hwy 67, as you exit Macomb heading north towards Monmouth (33 miles away). Hwy 67, at this point, is a four-lane divided highway with a 65 mph speed limit.

• On the computer, your image size will be 12 x 3-1/2" with 100 dpi. To minimize the file size, we will work with lower resolution. Ragan Advertising uses 432 dpi so the artwork will print out at 9 dpi.
  
• Use the RGB mode so you have access to all Photoshop menu options. When your image is complete, Flatten all layers and convert your image to CMYK colors.

What message is communicated by the image(s) and headline you choose? Before you create this image, define your target audience. Look through the website to gain a sense of a target readership.

Alternatively, design an 11 x 17" (tabloid-sized) poster or other related print piece.
