InDesign specifications
Use InDesign for all posters, fliers and brochures. Create a folder that contains the InDesign document and all files used (picture, logo and font files).
If you tried to create a full-sized poster in Photoshop (300 dpi, 11 x 17", CMYK color), the file would be 64.3M without any layers. An InDesign file would be much smaller in size and have far sharper fonts.
Picture file specifications (300 dpi, CMYK)
Insert Photoshop or Illustrator images. The Photoshop image size should be the same (or larger) than the image size in the InDesign document. The Photoshop files should have a 300 dpi resolution. They need to be converted to the CMYK mode when finished.
