Marie Dutka: Fingerprints

Marie DutkaThe University Art Gallery presents a series of recent works in a variety of print-related media by artist Marie Dutka. This imagery exploring self-awareness is generated by use of the fingerprint motif. Marie Dutka has exhibited her art in one-person, group and competitive exhibitions internationally and throughout the United States. Ms. Dutka has received grants for artistic research in France through the Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship, The United States Foundation, Cité Universitaire, and in Poland through Artslink, a partnership of the Citizens Exchange Council. In addition to working as an artist, Ms. Dutka currently works as a Graphic and Instructional Designer for Distance Learning at Global Information Systems Technology in Champaign, Illinois.
