An
exhibition of ceramic sculptures by WIU assistant professor of
art Sun-Koo. As a first generation Korean-American, Sun-Koo Yuh's
current work explores the universal themes of life, death, birth
and nature that transcend cultures. He received his B.F.A. degree
at Hong University, Seoul Korea, and his M.F.A. degree at New
York State College of Ceramics at Alfred, New York. His work has
been included in major group and competitive exhibitions in Korea
and the United States. This exhibition is supported by a grant
from the University Research Council and is co-sponsored by the
Department of Art, the College of Fine Arts and Communication,
the University Art Gallery, with additional support provided by
the Helen Drutt Gallery, Philadelphia.
