This exhibition presents recent acquisitions to the Western Illinois University Art Gallery Permanent Collection given by WIU Alumni (1964) George and Renee Mavigliano. Modern American art has been the focus of the Mavigliano's collecting over the years and we are pleased to feature this major gift in this special exhibition. The recent acquisitions include works by Donna Adamec, Joseph Albers, James Alexander, Leonard Baskin, Edwin Corey, Matthew Daub, Arthur B. Davies, Jerry Donato, David F. Driesbach, Robert Enkey, David Helton, David Hickman, Winslow Homer, Joseph Milosevich, Thomas Nast, Walter Peljo, Robert Paulsen, Robert Rauschenberg, David Reinbold, Reiner Schwartz, Akiva Kenneth Segan and Mary Defurio Smith.
