Matt DeWitt: Recent Paintings

November 29 - December 3, 2004

Presentation: Wednesday, December 1, 11 a.m.

My paintings are a process of exploration. I take cues from familiar surroundings and personal experiences, allowing my own emotions to dictate the forms, colors, and tone of the works. The abstract therefore becomes like a "road map" of my life and in the silence of it all, I leave myself exposed for all to see.

Katie Lee "Skull and Eggplant"

Katie Lee: Paintings and Works on Paper

December 6 - December 10, 2004
Public Reception: Tuesday, December 7, 6 - 8 p.m.
Presentation: Wednesday, December 8, 11 a.m.

Art is a passion, one that could not be denied or ignored. This passion is realized through constantly working and changing, and the need to progress. Making art, to me, is cultivating the desire to be true to myself.
