Rock Island, Illinois 61201

This bronze sculpture is located on the north side of the Rock Island Public Library. The swans are approximately life-sized. The enigmatic title means "To Be Human" in Italian.

This work is unlike the other area sculpture by Gene Horvath in that it is relatively naturalistic. His other work is characterized by strong, arching geometric shapes and open negative space.
