A Japanese rock garden is located on the north side of the Deere Administration Center. This garden was designed by Sasaki, Dawson & Associates in 1975. The garden is comprised of stones from Kyoto, Japan, where the most famous Zen Buddhist gardens are located. The rock garden is surrounded by dogwoods, rhododendrons and Japanese maples. Overall, the garden measures 60 x 75 feet.
