The portraits of Mabel and Daniel David were created by one of the Palmer family, Agnes Mae High Palmer. The sculpture of D. D. was created by a chiropractic student, George Barton, in 1919. B. J. Palmer's portrait was created by Luis Antonio Sanguino, a Spanish sculptor with studios in New York and Madrid.

TThe history of chiropractic education begins with its founder, D. D. (Daniel David) Palmer. The first classes of the Palmer School and Cure, later known as the Palmer Infirmary and Chiropractic Institute, were held in 1897.
