Above the main entrance to the Royal Neighbors of America building are several symbolic figures. In the top image, the two side panels portray the physical and spiritual aspects of the "Good Samaritan" -which exemplifies the fraternal teachings of the Society. In the center is Royal Neighbors of America emblem. Since 1894, the emblem has symbolized five great principles: Faith, Unselfishness, Courage, Endurance, and Modesty. The center symbol represents Morality.
In the lower image, the figures portray neighborliness, protection, and sympathy.
The Royal Neighbors of America National Headquarters was constructed in 1927. The architect was Pond and Pond, Martin and Lloyd.
