The "Wall of Faces" mural depicts a row of six-foot-tall heads that are alternatively male and female -each face a unique combination of enthnic features. As Glenn Boyles stated, "I wanted to represent the diversity of communities in America."
This project was sponsored by the Family Museum Street Heat Program, which has supported summer projects throughout the Quad-City area. The mural is painted on a residential wall that runs several hundred feet in length. It needed to be restored in the summer of 1999 because of damage caused by water leakage.
